PIC удобнее и лучше AVR для задач:
3. Simple programs.
4. Programs generating complex waveforms or multiple timing events (ie sequencers, for example, dimmers, IR transmitters, CCD drivers, etc).
5. Devices that do not radiate much noise.
6. Noise immune devices.
7. Robust devices.
Conclusion: AVR is good for toys and for amaters, ie for project where noise, reliability and robustness are not so important. :-)
Nevertheless in _all_ simple projects PIC is still better than AVR. :-)
Complex projects based on PIC is harder to handle, thus this area is for professionals only. :-)
