Tiny 8051-based USB microcontroller
eliminates external parts
Combining an 8051-based CPU, flash memory, a
USB controller, and a comprehensive set of analog
peripherals in a 5 x 5-mm 28-pin MLP, the
C8051F321 microcontroller claims to be the
smallest such solution available. The device
requires no external components—not even
resistors or a crystal—suiting it for
small-form-factor USB applications.
