ATtiny26 and ATmega16 and ATmega32 in Production Now. There are
three new members of the AVR family: the ATtiny26, ATmega16 and ATmega32 that
are currently in production. ATtiny26 is a low-power 8-bit microcontroller with 2K bytes
of In-System Programmable Flash, 128 bytes of EEPROM and SRAM memory and
an 11-channel 10-bit analog-to-digital converter. The ATmega16 and ATmega32
have 16 and 32K bytes of program memory and are pin and function compatible with
the existing ATmega163 and ATmega323. These parts are targeted at a more
aggressive process technology which provides a cost reduction path. It is time to
convert existing ATmega163 and ATmega323 designs to the new ATmega16 and
ATmega32 with self-programmable memory and improved features.
