The new V7.00 IPC-7351A LP Viewer is now available. I attached the latest PCB-STARTER PLB file to add many additional features to the new release and I attached a document that explains “What is a PLB File?” (see page 2).



To use the attached file, you need to download and install the Free IPC-7351A LP Viewer V7.00 from –

Put the file in this folder and unzip it there –

C:\Program Files\PCB Libraries LP Viewer\CAD Data



Install the PLB file in the LP Viewer program –

Select the “ Master Library Search”
Select the “ Preferences” ICON in the user toolbar
Select the “ Add” button
Select PCBL-STARTER.plb in this folder - C:\Program Files\PCB Libraries LP Viewer\CAD Data
Use the “ Up” button to move PCBL-STARTER to the top of the list
Select the “ Save and Close” button
Pull-down “ Select a Library” and select the PCBL-STARTER file
Select the “ Go” button by the Search Window
Select any part in the list
Select the “ View” ICON in the user toolbar
Select the “ Close” ICON in the user toolbar (to return to the “Master Library Search” menu)
Select the “ Link” ICON in the user toolbar
