Hello All,

I had a meeting with our product manager today and he has following questions:

1. Have you or your customers noticed any problem(s) with XX3006?
2. Have you or your customr)s) noticed any discrepancies between the codec 3000 family data sheets and the chips we delivered to you?

If the answer is yes for any of the above questions, then pls advise ASAP and we will fix the problem.

Our understanding is that your customer did receive XX instead of XE and he is doubting the quality of our XX.
Let me explain the XX: this means that product has been tested and need to be qualified before being marked XE. This qualifications takes 3 to 9 months as we have to make product life tests (in oven 3 months) and we do that for 3 lots. Now we cannot take chips from the same lot and make the tests (this is not correct). We had to wait for mfr of 3 lots then each test is 3 months.

Pls note that we guarantee the XX same as the XE and we did deliver a certification to you/your customer. If needed I can send you another certificate for that.

As for the XE, we will have them by mid this year.
