First position:
Required Experience 3 - 5
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Development and debugging of middleware for digital TV set top box
- Testing application on hardware
Specific Knowledge/Skills Technical requirements:
- Experience in programming under Linux (UNIX and Solaris) OS
- Experience in embedded programming and debugging
- Experience in low-level hardware programming
- Good C
- Good technical English(intermediate level)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of real-time systems/applications and their specifics
- Knowledge of C++, Java
- Familiarity with Ethernet network protocols
Personal requirements:
- Personal motivation and ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to work in team and good communication skills
Second Position:
Required Experience 3 - 5
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
(1) Design, implementation and integration of particular software components
(2) Code, tests, project technical documentation development
(3) Technical reviews participation
(4) Unit tests
Specific Knowledge/Skills Required skills:
- University or equivalent degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Strong C/C++ knowledge.
- Experience in Tcl/Tk, Perl, shell.
- Experience in communication with external devices from PC using different interfaces and SDKs.
- Experience in work with measuring equipment such as oscillograph.
- Knowledge of radio frequency spectrum and different signal modulation schemes such as QAM and QPSK.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Written and spoken technical English(intermediate level).
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of MPEG-2 and digital television standards.
- Experience in hardware and software testing.
- Ability for business trips.
