you`re using an older version of the starter kit containing a printer port
driver from Infinion. It may be same problems on modern AMD based
motherboards with VIA southbridges ( VT 82C686A/B on KT133/KT133A boards or
VT8233 on KT266/KT266A boards ). All of these configurations are well tested
with the new version of UTAH starterkit with own LPT driver. We analyze the
problem and send you a corrected driver or a new version of the starterkit
software next week.

ЗЫ: по моему он с проблемой еще и не сталкивались - иначе на их сайте уже давно лежала бы исправленная версия - а там глухо.
