Edit Paste Special

In P-CAD PCB, you can paste objects with special formats into your PCB design. Currently, you can place P-CAD picture format (*.emf) objects from the clipboard.
You can copy design objects by selecting them and choosing Edit Copy. This copies the selected objects to the clipboard. You can paste these objects in P-CAD picture format into your design and rescale them as a detail. To place an P-CAD picture from the clipboard:

6. Change to the nonsignal layer on which you want to place the clipboard picture.

7. Choose Edit Paste Special.

8. Click OK to select P-CAD Picture Format from the list.

note: An P-CAD picture cannot contain a picture, detail, or diagram. If one of these objects has been copied to the clipboard, the clipboard contents cannot be placed with Edit Paste Special.

9. Click the workspace to place the picture. The location of the mouse click indicates the location of the lower left corner of the object.

For more precise placement, press and hold down the left mouse button. A ghosted outline of the picture displays its dimensions. Release the mouse button when the picture is properly placed.
