Job summary:
- Development
Participate in design documents creation using SDL/UML/OOP.
Develop code on C and C++.
Participate in technical reviews.
Create and run unit tests.
Use version control and defect tracking systems.

- Testing
Participate in test cases development.
Verify product behavior against requirements.
Create/run test cases on real hardware locally and/or remotely.

- Maintenance
Work with customer on problem resolution.
Creative approach to problem solving.
Product problems identification and fix.
Reverse engineering and modification of other's code.
(Re)run test cases on product.

Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Embedded programming experience;
- Strong C;
- Good C++;
- UNIX work and programming experience (Solaris and Linux);
- Communication protocols:
+ GSM, trunked radio;
+ IP, FrameRelay, T1/E1, SNMP;·
-Good spoken and written English and ability for business trips;

Beneficial skills:
+ Perl;
+ DSP, vocoding algorithms;
+ Fax/Data/Modems;
+ layer 1 protocols;
+ FPGA

- Solid DSP knowledge and programming experience
- Good knowledge and experience in embedded programming
- Telecommunication protocols knowledge
- Good knowledge of modem algorithms
- Familiarity with modem standards like v.90, v.34, v.32, etc.

- Strong C programming skills
- Knowledge of modeling tools (Matlab/Simulink) is a plus
- Good English language

Software development and testing for Real Time Embedded systems

Major duties/Responsibilities:
(1) Design and implementation of particular software components
(2) Code, project technical documentation development
(3) Technical reviews participation
(4) Unit tests

Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:

University or equivalent degree in computer science
At least 1 year experience in software projects;
Strong knowledge of C is mandatory;
Experience in embedded programming on C, Assemblers
Knowledge of microcontrollers, expirience with different architectures;
Understanding of real-time applications, operating systems and their specifics for embedded applications;
Knowledge of communication protocols and expirience in communication systems development;
Knowledge of spoken and written English and ability for business trips
Ability to learn state-of-the-art methods and approaches in RTOS development and testing
Should be responsible and initiative.
